Conrad Black, who is now serving his 6.5 yer sentence for fraud and obstruction of justice…now his 30 yr old son is in trouble with the law…
Police have confirmed the man charged in a hit-and-run on Thursday night is the son of jailed media baron Conrad Black.
Traffic Services has charged Jonathan David Black, 30, with failure to stop after an accident, careless driving, driving while under suspension and operating a vehicle without insurance following a crash in the Financial district earlier this week.
Police say an Infiniti was driving on King St. W. Thursday when it rear-ended another car near University Ave. around 10:20 p.m.
Police say the driver of the Infiniti backed up and left the scene.
Witnesses gave police the vehicle information and police were able to locate and seize the vehicle.
Black will appear in court Monday at 3 p.m.
The 30-year-old is one of Conrad’s three children from his first marriage to Shirley Walters.
