“Gone Too Soon”
Like A Comet
Blazing ‘Cross The Evening Sky
Gone Too Soon
Like A Rainbow
Fading In The Twinkling Of An Eye
Gone Too Soon
Shiny And Sparkly
And Splendidly Bright
Here One Day
Gone One Night
Like The Loss Of Sunlight
On A Cloudy Afternoon
Gone Too Soon
Like A Castle
Built Upon A Sandy Beach
Gone Too Soon
Like A Perfect Flower
That Is Just Beyond Your Reach
Gone Too Soon
Born To Amuse, To Inspire, To Delight
Here One Day
Gone One Night
Like A Sunset
Dying With The Rising Of The Moon
Gone Too Soon
Gone Too Soon
“Gone Too Soon” is a song by Michael Jackson. It is the ninth single taken from the album Dangerous. It peaked at #33 on the UK Singles Chart in December 1993.
The song is dedicated to Ryan White, a young victim of AIDS whom Jackson befriended prior to his death. Michael performed this song at the ball for former President Bill Clinton‘s first inauguration on January 20, 1993, where he highlighted the importance of supporting research for a cure to this disease.
The track was included on the compilation album, Diana Princess of Wales Tribute, released by Sony in December 1997, shortly after the death of Princess Diana. The song was further covered by Babyface, as a duet with Stevie Wonder, during his MTV Unplugged session.
